A Review: Believing God by Beth Moore
From time to time people ask me about Beth Moore. So, I decided to read one of her books, Believing God (published in 2004).

Nice review to read. I remember when the women in my last church wanted to use Moore's book to study. My wife had a book, and so I skimmed it, and came to a passge where she says something like: "Well, you are a Kings kid. In fact, put the book down right now, and go look in a mirror and said to yourself,"You are a Kings child, you are great, you are lovely." paraphrased.

i then shared this with the elders and pastors, and they agreed it was bogus, but Beth was still alright ot study. I gave in as well. I was way to weak back then. Not that I'm Mr. strength now.

It’s really troubling to see, as in your example, that even when error is recognized, it is often not considered important enough to confront and reject.
